About us
Human Social Care Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Mumbai, India, established with a clear and action-oriented mission to serve humanity through meaningful, on-ground social initiatives. The Foundation is guided by the belief that sustainable development can only be achieved when communities are empowered with education, dignity, healthcare, and equal opportunities.
We actively contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a wide range of focus areas, including education, women’s and children’s rights and welfare, access to healthcare, humanitarian relief, anti-drug awareness, environmental protection, child nutrition, peacebuilding, social justice, and the reduction of inequality. A core pillar of our work is skill development and vocational training for school and college dropouts, enabling individuals to rebuild confidence and achieve sustainable livelihoods.
The Foundation was founded by Dr. Faizan A. Azizi, a distinguished scholar, author, and social activist, and a former committee member under ministries of the Government of India. Dr. Azizi has made significant contributions to social reform, education policy, and humanitarian engagement, earning recognition at both national and international levels. His work has been acknowledged by eminent leaders and institutions, including former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, former Prime Minister Shri V. P. Singh, the offices of the President of France and the Prime Ministers of New Zealand and Canada, Pope Francis at the Vatican, and the former Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, among others.
An accomplished author, Dr. Azizi’s academic work is housed in globally reputed universities such as Oxford and Cambridge. His recommendations were also considered during the formulation of India’s New Education Policy in 2016, reflecting his commitment to long-term, systemic change in education and social development.

United Nation Accreditation authorises Human Social Care Foundation representative to attend U.N. sessions in New York, Geneva and Vienna. The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) is one of the six main organs of the United Nations established by the UN in 1946. It is the principal body for coordination, policy review, policy dialogue and recommendations on economic, social and environmental issues, as well as for implementation of internationally agreed development goals. Organisation with Consultative Status can work with the United Nations Secretariat, They can attend international conferences and events, make written and oral statements at these events, organize side events, enter United Nations premises, and have opportunities to network. The Secretary-General is authorized to offer United Nations facilities to NGOs in consultative status, including:
- Accommodation for conferences or smaller meetings related to the work of ECOSOC, as available and under the conditions set at each UN Office;
- Appropriate seating arrangements and facilities for obtaining documents during public meetings of the General Assembly that deal with matters in the economic and social and related fields;
- Arrangement of informal discussions on matters of special interest to groups or organizations;
- Access to United Nations press documentation services;
- Prompt and efficient distribution of documents related to ECOSOC and its subsidiary bodies as the Secretary-General deems appropriate;
- Use of United Nations libraries.
